LEARNING TO COOK: FRESH HERBS DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR FOR CHEAP - HERBLY

Hi Friends! Today I partnered with a new company that's offering a Monthly Fresh Herb Subscription service! Herbly is sending Farm Fresh herbs directly to your door step. I mentioned in the video, I don't normally buy fresh herbs because they are more expensive and not always in season. Herbly has a ton of herbs to choose from and they are reasonably priced.

I chose 3 herbs: Rosemary, Basil, and Lemon Balm (mint family). I was so surprised by how fresh all 3 of the herbs were. They all come packaged in a thermal mailer with a cold pack inside, to keep your herbs fresh. The plastic container holds a good amount of herbs. I was able to use a good amount and freeze the rest.

Rosemary

OMG the Lemon Balm smells AMAZING! The sweet minty smell was nothing like I smelled before. Perfect for Tea or a dessert.

Basil

Check out Herbly to get your own herbs. They have a kickstarter page, where you can preorder your own herbs and help back the start of their company. Devyn is the owner and he takes such pride in the herbs and is truly passionate about the herbs he's selling to you. Message him for more information or if you have questions!

HOW I MAKE DEEP FRIED OREOS

Hi Friends! I'm excited to be sharing a recipe on how to make Fried Oreos. When I think about junk food, these are at the top of my list. They are chocolaty, gooey, and super sweet. They're so sweet, you can only eat a few. Fried Oreos are easy to make and only take a few items.

  1. How to make Deep Fried Oreos
  1. Preheat your oil in a sauce pan on medium/high heat or use a deep fryer
  1. Blend Pancake Mix and  Milk, you can add in 1 egg to hold it together a little more
  2. Once mixed let your mixture sit for about 3 minutes
  3. Dip the cookies in the batter mixture until totally covered and then place in the hot oil (cookies will float).
  4. Keep checking and turn over the cookie when bottom side of Oreo is brown. This will only take 30 seconds to a minute
  5. Keep a close watch because it only takes a short time to brown.
  6. Remove cookies and top with powdered sugar
  7. These taste best warm

EASY & DELICIOUS CHICKEN BURRITO BOWL

Hey Friends! Did you see this What's For Dinner video? Well I shared a Chicken Burrito Bowl that's easy, delicious, inexpensive! You can add whatever ingredients you like or take away things you or your kids may not like! I love this chicken for regular tacos and quesadillas, so it can be used for more then just this recipe. Chicken, Cheese, Rice... I'm set! Let's get into the recipie and be sure to leave a comment if you have anything to add!

What You Will Need

The chicken is made is a Crock Pot, so you will need one of those

To make the chicken
3 Large Chicken Breast
1 15.5oz of you favorite Salsa (I used mild, but I may use medium next time for a little spice)
1 packet Taco Seasoning (I've also used a fajita packet and it tasted just as good)

2 Cups White Rice
1 Can of Sweet Corn
1 Can Black Beans
Cheese
Lettuce
Tortilla Chips (optional)

For the Chicken
In a crock pot add Chicken
Sprinkle Taco Seasoning over top of chicken
Add the entire jar of salsa over top of chicken

Cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 8 hours

The chicken is done when you can easily get a fork through each piece

Remove chicken from the crock pot and shred it using 2 forks
Return the chicken back to the crock pot and mix up on that tasty goodness!

While your chicken is cooking
Cook your rice
Heat the black beans
Heat the corn

Once everything is done your going to layer you bowl, starting with the rice.

Now Get Your Grub On!

I didn't add lettuce to ours but when I make it again I will . The lettuce will give its nice crunch, which mine didn't have

This also freezes well, so you can also make extra and have some for another night!
