EPIC MONEY SAVING HACKS!! SAVE MONEY WITH SCENTBIRD & TONS MORE

Hi Friends! Today I share more money saving hacks! I talk about a few ways you can cut what you're spending but still live a fabulous life. I refuse to over spend on certain things i.e paper towels, cleaning supplies. So I've found alternate things that work just as well, but without the price tag.

Watch todays video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbiiCo-tZH0

In the video I mentioned Scentbird, the perfume subscription service. Scentbird is giving my friends 25%off their first order use code SEN25. Scentbird cost $14.95 per month, and you can try a luxury perfume for 30 days. I love this option because you don't have to leave the house! The perfume ships right to your door step and it comes in the cutest atomizer! This month I tried Lady Million and it smells amazing!

THE MOMMY SCENARIO TAG | Find Out What Type Of Mom I Am

Well hello there! I've started uploading videos on Monday, Wednesday and Friday so if you aren't already subscribed, go and do it because your missing out! The last video I did was The Mommy Scenario Tag and let me tell you, it made me question myself as a mom! If you vlog or blog you should do this tag and see what your answers are:

Here's the question:
1.   Your kid is refusing to eat dinner, do you stand your ground and demand they eat what you made or make something else?

2.  Your kid has a melt-down at the store; nothing is working to calm them. Do you leave & come back another time or grit your teeth and finish shopping?

3.  Your kid gets too many toys for their birthday. Do you make some returns or save them for a
rainy day?

5.  You have an appointment and no babysitter. Do you bring them with you or reschedule?

6.  You have 20 minutes until unexpected company arrives. Do you rush to clean up your messy
house, or just figure- “hey, it’s okay. I’ve got kids!”

7.   You’re running late & only have time to do your hair or makeup. Which do you choose?

8.   You’re at the park and another child pushes yours. Do you intervene and correct them or go find the child’s parent?

Answer these questions and be sure to leave a comment if any of our answers are the same!!! Let me know what kind if mom you are.

What We've Been Up To....

The weather here on the east coast has finally let up and brought some much needed sun. It seems like last time it was warm, Bobby was so young and didn't truly understand things, like he does now. He loves to be outside and lately that's just what we've been doing. He's 26 months old, independent and curious about everything. He talks more then I ever knew a 2 years old could talk, and sometimes wish he didn't know some of those words. He's much like me as in when he finds something new he likes, he wants to do it everyday. Right now we take daily trips to feed the duckies, play near the water, and do anything that has to do with birdies.

This was his first time playing in sand and we had such a good time. He was too cute digging with his little shovel and pail. He loved the feeling of the sand in his hands and on his feet and even tried to taste it. I'm so excited to take him to the beach this summer, I know he's going love playing at the big beach.

We love feeding the duckies! Even though they're geese, we call them duckies and we're totally obsessed. Bobby talks to them, sings songs to them, and of course wants to kiss them!

Bobby loves to play with sensory bins, so this past week we've been playing with bid seed. I like using the smaller tub for him, but would recommend using a larger one for 2 or more kids. I love sensory bins and if you follow me on Pinterest I have quite a few ideas pinned.

Family time is our favorite!

I  hope your all having a great weekend and getting some great weather like we've had!

Happy Saturday Friends! I hope your having a relaxing Saturday. Today I'm showing you another make-up look which is simple and easy to do. This is a perfect everyday look, that anyone can do. What I think is most important  for an everyday makeup look is flawless glow-y skin, long lashes, and a groomed brow. If those 3 things are done then you'll put together. Two Fashion Must for Your Little Boy

Today I want to show two recent outfits I put together for Bobby. It nearly impossible to take a good picture of him, so I only have a couple of shots. Dressing a toddler boy is so difficult since most cute stuff is made for a girl. Here are two accessories I think add to any little guys outfit

The 1st look is a super cute and casual outfit that's perfect for everyday!I've added a black belt to the outfit, which I think is the perfect toddler accessory. I found a 2 pack at Walmart for 6 bucks! I know in some of the pictures you cant see the belt but it's there and his shirt was partially tucked in!

The details: Jacket- H&M (recent) Tee- Walmart (still available) Belt- Walmart (recent) Jeans- Children's Place (old) Shoes- Timberland boot

I've found that anytime we add this neutral scarf to an outfit we always get so many compliments. If you don't have a scarf  then you can make a tee-shirt scarf ( link ) or you can always purchase one and hem it to fit your little guy.

The details: Vest/shirt/jeans- Calvin Klein (TJ Maxx) Scarf- Handmade from Bobby's co-worker

Glade Expressions® Collection Product Review

Recently I was offered the chance to review the NEW Glade Expressions Collection. Glade says that the Expressions are: true-to-life fragrance combinations inspired by art and designed to open up note by note, filling your home and inviting life in. Stylish packaging combined with long lasting fragrance is the perfect way to combine home decor with home fragrance.

Here is my first impression:
The Oil Diffuser in Pineapple and Mangosteen
An extremely tropical scent. It smells great, like a summer day sipping on a tropical drink.
The packaging was nice, it looks a lot better then the reed diffusers I had years ago.
Easily accessible since they're available at Walmart, you can purchase them 24/7
Very kid and pet friendly
The scent lasts for weeks. Longer then any other flam less home fragrance I've used.

2 simple steps and the oil diffuser is put together

The Fragrance Mist in Cotton and Italian Mandarin
The packaging is sleek with nice modern twist
The scent is a fresh scent, it leaves the space smelling clean
Take away any odor
Easily Accessible

I've used Glade products before in the past I was never unhappy but I was never happy with them. When the chance to do this review came I was expecting to be underwhelmed. I put the oil diffuser together in 2 simple steps, then immediately smelled the amazing tropical fragrance. I loved it, but I feel in love when I woke up the next morning and the scent was still there! I don't think it'll work as well in a large space, but in a small space such as an entry way, bathroom, or hallway it would be perfect. I highly recommend the Glade Expression Oil Diffuser in Pineapple and Mangosteen. This will be a re-buy for me, for sure! The Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist works just as it said it would. The packaging is sleek and modern, you can remove the label so it blends easily into any decor. I like to use a fragrance mist to freshen up a room such as the bathroom or kitchen. I don't buy mist products too often I've used the Febreze Linen and Sky in the past. I did like the Cotton and Italian Mandarin and will be replacing the Febreze. For the price both of these products are worth a try!

This review is 100% honest. I was given these products for free from the Bzzagent Glade Expressions campaign.

My Skincare Routine and Dark Spot Corrector

Proactive is a product that I've used off and on for years. I've never been able to find a product that clears up and even out my skin tone as well as Proactive. Me as well as my skin, tend to get tired of products after a while. But this is one Product I need to make a staple if I want great skin. I have oily, breakout prone skin with some redness. Even if you only have oily skin Proactive will work wonders for you as well. If your unfamiliar with Proactive, its a 3 step system that's used twice a day.
Step 1 is the Cleanser, which has little beads that exfoilate every wash. This helps get rid of dirt and oil, while making my skin super soft. My face always feel so clean after I wash my face
Step 2 is the toner, this is a pretty standard toner. The only positive I have is it doesn't burn.
Step 3 is the Repairing Lotion, this is the lotion that helps treat and prevent any breakouts. It contains benzol proxide which is the only acne product that works on my skin. This is applied to the entire face.
These are the 3 main steps. I use an additional 3 products that are just as important.
First, the Refining Mask. I use it 1-2 per week, it helps absorbs the oil and dry up any breakout. It reminds me of a clay based mask, which is essential for oily skin. You can use the Refining Mask as an overnight spot treatment as well.Even if you don't try Proactive I highly recommend trying this mask.

Second, the Dark Spot Corrector. This is used twice a day after the Repairing Lotion. I didn't believe this would lighten my discoloration, but it did! They haven't gone away, but have been lightened drastically. This product is bomb!
Lastly, the Green Tea Moisturizer. I use this last, after all the other products are absorbed into the skin. I try to wait at least ten minutes before applying moisturizer because layering too many products can make them peel. So make sure its completely absorbed. This is a nice moisturizer, I wouldn't purchase it because there are others out that I like much better.
I think Proactive is a great system, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Proactive has a variety of other great products as well. I would suggest buying from a mall, and staying away from the online "club" Proactive offers. For me, its just easier to buy as I need it and not have them doing monthly debits.

Our Christmas Tree including DIY Ornament Tip

Hi friends! Just when I thought I was back to posting regularly, I had to go drop my tablet in a sink full of water! I thought I was seeing things, like my tablet really couldn't just be sitting in water, It was. Luckily we had insurance and thats why I've been gone for so long. So lets keep our fingers crossed for no more issues!
I love seeing the way people decorate their Christmas tree. I would say our tree is an eclectic style, we have a variety of ornaments and special touches.  One great way to add your own touch is making your own ornaments.

What you do is purchase clear ornaments for any craft store. Stock up now! It's the perfect time since they'll be on sale, you can store them away until next year. Then get any color acrylic paint I will say this, glitter paint sucks! It was clumpy and too opague for what I wanted. Pick at least 3 different colors to give some variety. Now, all you have to do is place paint INSIDE the ornament, swirl it around to coat the entire inside. Beware that the paint will run before drying. You'll have one of a kind balls that give your tree an ecletic look.

I added glitter feathers, branch, pine cones and picture to the more traditional collectible ornaments. I love how our tree reflects our family. It's fun, laid back with a touch of traditional. I love seeing all the new trends this year, but when I look at our tree I see memories and that makes me happy!

I would love to see how you decorated Christmas tree! Leave a comment or tweet me below with your blog link,

Family Fun Day: Please Touch Museum

Hi Loves! I hope everyone is having an amazing Saturday. Today we decided that we were going to have a family fun day since Baby B is starting daycare on Monday. We just want to try to spend as much QT as possible. I planned on us spending the full day at the pool, but when we woke up it just wasn't pool weather. We decided to head the Please Touch Museum and just let Bobby run and play. He rode the Carousel for the first time. He was a little confused at first, but ended up smiling the whole time. We had a great day and I'm glad that we got to spend some quality time together.

Here's the make-up look that I did today. I wore a mix of blue and purple shadow from my Coastal Scents 88 palette. I never wear color so today was a nice change.

Sorry the quality of the this picture sucks. My love is not the best photographer!
