Adventures of a SAHM: Please Touch Museum Philadelphia, Pa
Since becoming a stay at home mom to my rambunctious toddler, I've been trying to find new and exciting things for us to do. We're lucky to live a large city that has a long list of things to do. Many of those things are geared to older kids, but one of our all time favorite places is The Please Touch Museum. It's a children's museum that's perfect for kids of all ages, especially those age 2-7. The museum is extremely stroller friendly, they even have little areas for you to park it. They offer a coat check, family restrooms, off street parking and ample seating areas. They have a cafe which has an nice assortment of food, drinks and snacks. The best part is, if you don't want to buy lunch you can bring it with you. Just set up at one of the many tables they have, you'll see many others doing the same thing.
We have the basic membership that gains admission for 4 people as well as 1 free parking spot. The membership also gives you a discount on food, carousel rides and admission for additional guests. I was happy to find out that as a member you get free admission to over 200 children's museums nationwide. Then my happiness went to sadness when I found out on April 1, 2013 it will no longer be free, but instead be 50% off. Here is a list to all the museums that are included. If your not a member, Target hosts a discount night every first Wednesday of the month from 5:00-7:00pm admission is $2.00. I'm not sure how crowded it gets but it might be worth it just to see.

Personalized Easter Basket
Since March is here and Easter is this month, I decided to start thinking about Easter baskets! We've used the same Easter basket for the past 2 years. It was great when he was small, but now that he's a candy-loving toddler a small basket just won't work. This is a DIY Easter basket that will fit toys and candy!
I found the bucket at the Dollar Tree, they have a couple of different colors available. At just a dollar you can buy a couple in case you mess up! I painted the bucket with acrylic paint (have I mentioned I love me some acrylic paint!) and the fabric ties are from Walmart. I love the way this bucket turned out. For just a few bucks you have a personalized Easter basket, now I'll have more money to spend on what goes inside the basket!

Glade Expressions® Collection Product Review
Recently I was offered the chance to review the NEW Glade Expressions Collection. Glade says that the Expressions are: true-to-life fragrance combinations inspired by art and designed to open up note by note, filling your home and inviting life in. Stylish packaging combined with long lasting fragrance is the perfect way to combine home decor with home fragrance.
Here is my first impression:
The Oil Diffuser in Pineapple and Mangosteen
An extremely tropical scent. It smells great, like a summer day sipping on a tropical drink.
The packaging was nice, it looks a lot better then the reed diffusers I had years ago.
Easily accessible since they're available at Walmart, you can purchase them 24/7
Very kid and pet friendly
The scent lasts for weeks. Longer then any other flam less home fragrance I've used.

| 2 simple steps and the oil diffuser is put together |
The Fragrance Mist in Cotton and Italian Mandarin
The packaging is sleek with nice modern twist
The scent is a fresh scent, it leaves the space smelling clean
Take away any odor
Easily Accessible
This review is 100% honest. I was given these products for free from the Bzzagent Glade Expressions campaign.

Saying Goodbye to 2012
**** TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO ENTER THE NEW YEARS GIVEAWAY! BE SURE TO GO ENTER IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. A $25 AMAZON GC IS THE PRIZE****
Hi friends! I hope your all had an amazing weekend. Since today's New Years Eve and I'm preparing to bring in the New Year with my man, I thought I'd reflect with you guys on this past year!
In 2012...
- I learned that life as a SAHM to a toddler is freakin' hard
- We celebrated our 9th year as a couple, and spent another holiday season together
- We lost our baby Diva. This is a sad subject for me, I love my dog, and hated having to put her down. We miss everyday.
- My relationship with my mom, as well as dad and brother, has grown into something so beautiful. They are my biggest supporters and I love them to death.
- We had an awesome superman 1st birthday party for B and now we're planning #2
- We spent sunny days playing at the park, splashing in the pool, or just taking a walk. We loved being outside, it was a daily routine.
- Baby B started talking and now at 23 months he says full sentences, can count to 10, says his ABC's, and knows his name (can you tell I'm proud)
In 2013...
- We plan on getting married, regardless if it's big or not
- I want to post regularly on my blog as well as social media sites
- Take Bobby to the beach for a family getaway
- I want to learn to be more organized and have a more methodical way of thinking. I watch OrganizedlikeJen on Youtube, and in her daily vlogs she is so methodical. She has a plan for everything and I love that about her. You should check out her videos and blog.
- Of course I have to put in the eat better or take better care of myself.
I love the start of a new year. It's a new chapter to the story of your life, and you can write it however you like. You first need to know what you want, then must think like it's yours. The power of positive thinking is extremely possible, you just have to think about what you want: or how you want your life. I plan using this to my families full advantage!
From my family to yours, we hope your New Years is beautiful and prosperous!
